Air Charge Line seals replaced (74367 miles)

Got around to replacing my air charge line seals to cure that annoying oil leak.

This is the Air Charge Line. This is the end which attaches to the intercooler.

Removal of the air charge pipe is quite tricky. The intercooler end is fairly straightforward. Just remove the metal clip and the coupling will come apart. The turbo end is much more difficult but if you study the pictures above it should make it a lot easier. The metal clips can be retracted onto detents on the plastic assembly which links them. This keeps the clip disengaged from the turbo flange for removal. Take your time and don't break anything!

The seals themselves are pretty easy to replace. Just make sure you fit them the correct way around and don't damage the seal lips. Refitting of the pipe is pretty easy.
